Privacy Policy
Effective September 20, 2026
Bookie Labs LLC (“Bookie”, “we”, “us”) keeps restaurant reservation books in sync across platforms. This policy explains what information we collect on hirebookie.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions go to hello@hirebookie.com.
Scope
This policy covers hirebookie.com and our sales and marketing communications. When a restaurant uses the Bookie service, we process its reservation and guest data on that restaurant’s behalf and under our agreement with it. The restaurant decides how that data is used. If you are a guest of a restaurant, contact the restaurant about your reservation data.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. When you send the contact form, we receive your name, restaurant, website, email address, and message. If you arrived through a link that carries a visit tag (a
?v=value in the address), we keep that tag for your browser session and attach it to the form and to site analytics, so we know which outreach brought you. When you book a call or email us, we receive what you share. - Payment information. Payments go through Stripe. Stripe collects your card and billing details. We receive your name, email, billing address, what you bought, and the payment status. We do not receive or store full card numbers.
- Usage information. We collect pages viewed, actions taken on the site (for example playing a demo or using the calculator), referring links, approximate location from your IP address, and browser and device details.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We and our providers use cookies, pixels, and scripts to measure the site and to advertise.
- Visitor identification. We use a business visitor identification service (RB2B). It may match a visit to a business profile, such as a name, employer, job title, business email address, and professional profile link, using information that provider holds. When you visit our website, cookies and similar technologies may be used by our online data partners or vendors to associate these activities with other personal information they or others have about you, including by association with your email or online profiles. We (or service providers on our behalf) may then send communications and marketing to these emails or profiles. You may opt out at app.retention.com/optout. California residents can also use the CCPA request page.
- Information from other sources. We receive business contact details from public sources and from business data providers.
How we use information
- To answer inquiries, run demos, and provide and bill for the service.
- To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
- To contact businesses that may benefit from Bookie. Every marketing email includes a way to opt out.
- To show and measure advertising, including ads shown to people who visited the site.
- To keep the site and service secure and to meet legal obligations.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics to measure site usage. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
When we run advertising, partners such as Google and Meta may use cookies and similar technologies to collect or receive information from this site and elsewhere on the internet, and use it to measure and target ads, including ads based on your earlier visits. We may also share hashed contact details, such as an email address, with these partners so they can match audiences, measure results, or exclude existing customers from ads.
You can control ad personalization at Google Ads Settings, in your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences, and at aboutads.info/choices. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information for money. We share information with:
- Service providers that host the site and handle forms (Netlify), analytics and advertising (Google, Meta), visitor identification (RB2B), payments (Stripe), scheduling, email, and customer records.
- Authorities or other parties when the law requires it or to protect rights and safety.
- A successor in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Some sharing with advertising and visitor identification providers may count as a “sale” or “sharing” under certain US state laws. You can opt out as described under “Your choices and rights”.
Retention
We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, then delete or de-identify it. We keep inquiry and sales records while a business relationship is possible or active, and as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising and of the sale or sharing of your information. To opt out of visitor identification, use the links under “Information we collect”. To make any other request, or to opt out of marketing, email hello@hirebookie.com. We do not discriminate against anyone for making a request. We will verify a request before we act on it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No system is fully secure.
Children
The site is for businesses. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
International visitors
Bookie operates in the United States. We and our providers process information in the United States and in other countries where those providers operate. If you visit from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here and change the effective date.
